Perfectly located, the hotel is in Paradou on the border with the village of Maussanne-Les-Alpilles, its shops, its square and its weekly market which are accessible on foot or by bike.

A family story

The charming hotel du Côté des Olivades was born from the passion and know-how of a family from Belgium, coupled with the desire to undertake and create a luxury hotel in the colors of Provence in the Alpilles. It all started about twenty years ago, in 1996, when André & Nancy Bourguignon decided to leave their country of origin, Belgium, to come and settle in the south, under the sun of Provence.

A single idea in mind, to become a hotelier, the best hotelier in the region, until becoming a master restaurateur! Once the ideal land has been identified, negotiated, and then purchased, the work can begin, after 2 years of discussing with the architects, the municipality, the craftsmen and the project managers, the "du Côté des Olivades" establishment sees the day in 1998 in the heart of the Alpilles at the foot of the Château des Baux-de-Provence.

In 2003, André Bourguignon, owner of the hotel on the Olivades side, which has now become the benchmark 4-star hotel in the Alpilles, had only one idea in mind, to make a second one, while somewhat complicating the task, since this will be none other than a modern and contemporary 5-star hotel: the b design hotel & spa , which will open in 2009.

Since 2015, their daughter Vanessa has run this place masterfully.
